FAQ

  • We start where you are. If you’re not sure, send an email with a detailed description of what you’re working on or want to, how far along you are (planning, written some, finished manuscript, etc.), and what you want to achieve, and we will go from there! Everything beyond that is customized to be what you need from this experience.

  • Writing can be lonely, and life and our emotional wellbeing are often the biggest challenges in finding time and motivation to write. Knowing this, I’ve designed each course or service to be interactive and personal—even in group courses!

  • Individual courses can start as soon as you see availability on the calendar—just snag that opening. I limit courses to 10 to ensure that everyone gets personal interaction as well as an opportunity to bond with the community.

  • If you add a service to your existing experience or within a week of a course ending, you will receive a 15% discount on that course or service. Please note that you will be placed on the schedule as soon as there is availability if that changed between the time of booking an additional course and the new course or service beginning.

    There are no discounts past the week after a course or service ending, but sign up to receive the newsletter for the occasional “work with me again” discount offer email.

  • If you sign up and email with a change of mind within a 24-hour period, you will receive a full refund.

    If you sign up and book on the calendar and do not cancel in a 24-hour period, a 10% fee will be assessed for the calendar being blocked as this affects other writers.

    If you sign up but do not book on the calendar, please note that there is a 30-day period in which you are guaranteed the services, but a refund cannot be issued. If you sign up but do not book on the calendar before 30 days, you are entitled to a full refund.

  • When you know when your availability coincides with mine. Do not sign up until you know when you’ll be able to attend or when your manuscript is ready.

  • Yes, but you need to change it right away. Please do not wait as that negatively impacts us both. If you realize that your manuscript won’t be ready for the review, for example, then contact me right away, so we can change the date, and I can open that spot back up.

    Changes made within 30 days of your scheduled service barring verifiable crisis (as I totally get that this happens) will be assessed a 15% fee for the loss of revenue as a result of holding that space on the calendar.
